This User Agreement (the "Terms") is a legally binding agreement between you and Fawbbie Team ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Fawbbie application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1) Eligibility (17+)
The Service is intended for users age 17 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 17 years old.
2) The Service
Fawbbie helps you organize your creative writing process, including saving drafts and outlines, tracking progress, managing writing stages, and archiving finished pieces.
The Service may change over time. We may add, remove, or modify features, and we may suspend or stop parts of the Service.
3) Accounts & security
If the Service requires an account:
- You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4) Your content
Ownership: You retain ownership of content you create, upload, or store through the Service ("User Content").
License to operate the Service: To provide the Service (for example, saving, syncing, processing, and displaying your content), you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and process your User Content solely to:
- Operate and maintain the Service;
- Provide customer support; and
- Improve reliability and security.
This license ends when your User Content is deleted from the Service, except to the extent we must retain certain information for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Your responsibility: You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring you have all rights needed to submit it.
5) Optional automated (AI) features
The Service may offer optional automated features that help generate or transform content based on what you submit (for example, text generation or output created from text/images you provide).
You control whether to use these features. If you use them, you authorize us to process the submitted content on servers controlled by Fawbbie Team to produce the requested result. Submitted inputs are intended to be deleted promptly after processing is complete unless you choose to save results in the app.
6) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal activities or to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe, misappropriate, or violate the rights of any person or entity
- Upload malware, attempt to hack, probe, or disrupt the Service or its security
- Interfere with or overload the Service (including automated scraping or abusive traffic)
- Use the Service to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or otherwise harmful
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
We may remove content or restrict access if we believe you violated these Terms or used the Service in a harmful way.
7) Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Fawbbie Team or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
8) Feedback
If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation to improve the Service.
9) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content will be accurate or preserved.
10) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fawbbie Team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Fawbbie Team for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability (or USD $10 if you paid nothing).
11) Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fawbbie Team from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or used the Service unlawfully or abusively.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will end. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
13) Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of our principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. The arbitration decision will be final and binding.
14) Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the Effective Date when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
